Murukku - Baby Rice Twisties
The 'Murukku' holds within its twists years of history. A snack that originated in Tamil Nadu. 'Muruku' means 'to twist' in Tamil. It is made from semi-solid dough, which primarily consists of rice flour and gram flour that's deep fried once it is passed through a murukku-maker. In North India is commonly known as 'Chakli' which is an all-time favourite tea-time snack.
